Opening Thoughts...

Since Sam and I are horrible about keeping in touch with our family and friends (mostly attributed to our busy schedules) I decided it would be nice to start a little memo page where, those who are interested, could stay up-to-date on the happenings of the Mason household.

As some may know, we dove into the world of home improvements this summer when we started adding on a room to the back of our house. Some say it's silly to build on a room that has yet been given a primary purpose; however, we are looking forward to some extra living space! I also think that room will provide the perfect spot for a Christmas tree:) The addition is still a work in progress and will more than likely not be finished for quite some time, but I am sure it will be worth the wait.

Fortunately, Sam's 'workshop', located underneath of the new room, should be up and operational within the next few months. Since we do not have a garage, the extra space to store lawn equipment, flower pots, etc., will definitely be put to good use.

I spotted the first snow flurries of the season today!!! Although some may disagree, the cold weather makes it feel more like the holiday season. After all, who wants to stuff themselves with turkey when it is warm outside???

Sam and I are both looking forward to spending some quality time with our family over the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday. We are also looking forward to spending some time with one another. We have a busy life, but who doesn't? Since we are one married couple that actually enjoy spending time with one another, we take advantage of any breaks in our busy schedule to make some lasting memories.

Speaking of busy, it's time to get back to the grindstone.
